Mission statement

We are committed to foster the next generation of doctors through a culture of integrating medical education, leading edge basic and clinical research to further the ability to deliver quality health care, to predict illness and to promote the health of the entire community.

Vision

 A higher educational institution that produces competitive and professional medical specialists on the world labor market who are able to apply the achievements of science, education and medical practice in their activities by introducing the achievements of innovative technologies in the field of medicine in their professional activities.

 Strategic goal 

The strategic goal of the university is to achieve international recognition of EIMU as one of the leaders providing high quality education for graduates who are able to apply practical knowledge and skills to provide qualified cure to the population.

Strategic objectives 

Based on the vision of the role of EIMU, mission and strategic goal, the following strategic objectives are defined for EIMU:

 Task 1. Providing modern and effective conditions for the training of highly qualified medical, managerial, scientific personnel with competitive advantages in the domestic and international labor markets.

 Task 2. Ensuring the rapid growth of scientometric indicators of the University, ensuring its leading position among medical universities of the Republic, strengthening its reputation in the international scientific world.

Task 3. Creation of a university clinic, medical centers in the field of providing unique and high-tech types of medical care in accordance with the best world practices, which are leaders of the healthcare system of the Republic and competitive participants in the healthcare system. 

Task 4. Implementation of personnel, educational and scientific policy that ensures the integration of the University into the international scientific and educational world. 

Task 5. Development and improvement of the quality of information and library services.

 Task 6. Optimization of information technologies used by the University, providing a modern and effective level of administration, implementation and accounting of the results of the educational process, as well as the creation of information and analytical decision support systems. 

Task 7. Creating an in- and out-of-university environment that provides an opportunity for development of talents, the formation of professional and personal qualities of students inheriting the socio-cultural traditions of domestic medicine.

 Task 8. Comprehensive development of the university infrastructure, ensuring the possibility of effective and timely implementation of the tasks of strategic development of the educational, scientific and medical potential of the University.

 Task 9. Improving the efficiency of the financial activities of the University, using the mechanisms of diversification of educational, scientific and therapeutic potential.  

The goals of the General Educational Program "General Medicine” (experimental curriculum, 5 years of study for foreign citizens)

Goal 1: To train a qualified specialist who is able to carry out basic skills of medical activity, has organizational and managerial, educational and research abilities, meets the requirements of the quality assurance system in the international educational process.

Goal 2: To provide fundamental knowledge and skills for the acquisition of basic professional skills for the provision of therapeutic, preventive and medico-social assistance to the population, based on a competence-based approach.

 Goal 3: To ensure readiness for postgraduate education, social and professional mobility in the international labor market; integration in the international scientific and educational space in the field of professional activity.

 Goal 4: Formation of universal and cultural and moral values, professional and ethical and civic responsibility, critical thinking skills, self-development, self-realization and self-education, which are in demand in modern society.
