About some issues of admission of foreign citizens to educational organizations
implementing programs of higher professional medical education

In order to improve the quality of training and graduation of medical personnel, as well as to
stimulate higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic to increase their level,
including for the recognition of state diplomas of the Kyrgyz Republic in foreign countries, in
accordance with the articles
13, 17 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Cabinet of Ministers of the
Kyrgyz Republic" The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:
1. To establish that in the 2022-2023 academic year and subsequent academic years,
admission of foreign citizens is allowed to educational organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic
implementing programs of higher professional medical education that have passed
international program accreditation.
2. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to approve the plan of
admission of foreign students only to medical higher educational institutions that have
passed international program accreditation for a period of at least three years in foreign
agencies accredited by the World Federation of Medical Education.
3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic shall ensure the issuance of study
visas to applicants and students going to study only at medical higher educational
institutions that have passed international program accreditation for a period of at least
three years in foreign agencies accredited by the World Federation of Medical Education.
4. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to take measures arising
from this resolution.
5. Control over the execution of this resolution shall be entrusted to the Department of
control over the execution of decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the
Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
6. This resolution comes into force after seven days from the date of official publication.

Articles 13, 17 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the Cabinet of Ministers
of the Kyrgyz Republic" The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:
1. To establish that admission of foreign citizens in the 2022-2023 academic year and in
subsequent academic years is allowed to educational organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic
implementing a program of higher professional medical education that have passed
international program accreditation.
2. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to approve the plan of
admission of foreign students only to medical universities accredited under international
programs for a period of at least three years in foreign agencies accredited by the World
Federation of Medical Education.
3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic shall ensure the issuance of study
visas to applicants and students sent to study only at medical universities accredited under
the international program for a period of at least three years in foreign agencies accredited
by the World Federation of Medical Education.
4. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to take measures arising
from this resolution.
5. To assign control over the execution of this resolution to the Office of the Administration
of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic for control over the execution of decisions of the
President and the Cabinet of Ministers.
6. This resolution comes into force after seven days from the date of official publication.
